Song Su started playing the violin from an early age and went on to study music at the Kyung Hee University in Korea. She has studied the Suzuki method of violin teaching and has taught students of all ages in Scotland for many years. She currently teaches violin at the Rudolph Steiner School in Edinburgh.  She greatly enjoys teaching and aims to convey her passion and enthusiasm for music to the younger generation. She believes that every student has ability and through the study of music can reach their potential as wonderful human beings with beautiful spirits.

She has been playing the violin with the Edinburgh Symphony Orchestra for many years, and in the past she has also played with the London Korean Symphony Orchestra. She performs with various other semi-professional orchestras in Edinburgh.

• If I was an animal I would be a white cat and laze in the sun all day long.
• I first ate pizza when I was twenty years old at university and I ate it with chopsticks!
• I grew up in a vineyard, and was the youngest out of my seven brothers and sisters.
