Jen Phizacklea
BA MSc

Jen studied music at the University of Leeds, majoring in performance, and has recently completed an MSc in Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University. She has taught children and adults piano and cello privately for almost 10 years and her musical performances have taken her on many exciting journeys – including to Austria, Germany, America and South Africa. 

She is now based in Edinburgh working as a music teacher, music therapist and freelance musician.  

• Three scoops of icecream: chocolate fudge brownie, strawberry cheesecake and honeycomb – yum!
• If I was an animal I'd like to be a horse, galloping along beaches and through fields.
• The next instrument I would like to learn is the double bass.
• I started to learn the piano aged 6 and the cello aged 9.
