Catherine McKelvie
MA (Hons) Music
Catherine enjoyed playing piano from an early age, and after dabbling with violin and viola at Towerbank Primary, took up the clarinet at secondary school. Catherine went on to study music at Glasgow University, focussing mainly on composition and Scottish traditional music. After graduating in 2008, she decided to become a music teacher, and is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in secondary teaching at Strathclyde University.
