Alan Train MAAlan started playing the guitar at age six and by the time he was in his teens, was performing every weekend in bands across central Scotland. In 1995, he was awarded a place at The Music School of Douglas Academy where he studied before going to Strathclyde University to study for an MA in Applied Music. Since graduating he has worked as an instrumental instructor for various local authorities, including Glasgow City Council, Dumfries & Galloway, South Ayrshire and South Lanarkshire. He has travelled extensively as a performing musician over the past ten years playing in countries such as the USA, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, Australia and Thailand.
