Choir and solo singing

ChoirChoirs offer excellent general musical training, regardless of the child’s musical background and ability. It is an invaluable part of a child’s musical development and helps to develop general musicianship skills relevant to all musical instruments. Through learning songs from a variety of musical genres and countries, pupils will develop their skills in ensemble singing, with opportunities for solo performance throughout the year. Classes will cover simple part-singing, sight-singing and introduce the basics of music theory, following the National Youth Choir of Scotland Go-For-Bronze 1 syllabus. We recommend that all children learning instruments attend one of our choirs and to make it more affordable, we offer a 40% reduction off choir fees.
