African Drumming ~ Intermediate Classes
Students are expected to be able to make a distinction between the bass, tone and slap sounds on the djembe and have experience of playing the djembe. Students will learn more complex rhythmic structures, introductions and breaks. There will be an emphasis on the origin of rhythms played and the songs associated with these rhythms.
